DIRECTV^® Installation

Your DIRECTV service will be professionally installed and configured. Here's what you can expect. Installation will take approximately four hours to complete, depending on equipment choices and configuration. Please have an adult present who is authorized to sign for completed work and make decisions about the home.

A certified installer will:

• Install a dish on your roof, side of home, balcony or other location
• Drill through one wall
• Connect your DIRECTV^® Receiver to your current TV, audio receiver, VCR and/or DVD player
• Give you a mini-lesson about your system
• Activate your service

The majority of customers need just one dish, no matter how many receivers/rooms. A select few may require an additional dish, depending on a customer's programming choices (Local Channels/International).
