NetWings Company, Inc.
Harold Ward, owner of NetWings Company, Inc. in Boise, Idaho, builds customized desktop and website software for clients who usually need to streamline and automate complex operations such as database management. With the majority of his work conducted online, Harold relies on Qwest’s reliability to ensure that his customers can reach him and his emails won’t be blocked by his clients’ ISP’s (Internet service providers).
“Smaller ISP’s, little mom and pop shops, typically don’t have the time to keep up with the problem of junk mail, SPAM, and (security) threats,” says Harold. “When I was on the mom and pop ISP, I’d say that 10 percent of the messages I’d send would be bounced back.” As a result, Harold couldn’t trust that his emails were being received.
With Qwest, though, NetWings has less to worry about. “One nice thing about having Qwest as an ISP and a host for my email is that more of the messages that I send are trusted and fewer of the messages that I receive are not trusted,” says Harold. “Qwest has the depth to maintain its digital reputation.”
