The MEDIACC-EBTA application provides a common electronic gateway for wholesale Qwest customers to communicate with various Qwest business applications. This application is used primarily to mechanically process telephone circuit repair activities including repair ticket generation and MLT (Mechanized Loop Tests).
MEDIACC-EBTA serves as an electronic gateway to Work Force Administration/Control (WFA/C) and Loop Maintenance Operating System (LMOS) for Inter-Exchange Carriers and CLECs. The WFA/C system is used for Special Services (Design), and the LMOS system is used for Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) (Non-Design).
The MEDIACC-EBTA application is a customer provided interface. The Qwest gateway and associated services can be accessed through the private line Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) connection.
