Metropolitan Area Acquisition (MAA)
The Metropolitan Area Acquisition program sustains significant
price reductions in selected metropolitan areas and provides
a flexible contract vehicle with quality local service offerings.
Qwest holds the two most recent MAA contracts, allowing our customers
to utilize our MAA contracts through 2010.
Qwest offers the following products and services through the MAA
program:
- Analog / digital voice lines with enhanced station features
including caller I.D.
- PBX and Centrex arrangements
- ISDN BRI and PRI
- Direct Inward Dialing (DID) trunks
- Direct Outbound Dialing (DOD) trunks
- Point-to-point circuits with digital speeds up to 1.544 Mbps
- Local number portability
- No usage-based charge for calls within the MAA Network
- Flexible Service Delivery Points (SDPs)
