Support Boundaries


Qwest works with you to resolve technical problems with your Qwest High-Speed Internet service and/or those related to Qwest as your Internet Service Provider (ISP). All reasonable efforts are made to find a resolution. For Qwest provided modems with advanced features or settings, Qwest will only help you locate a setting in the modem GUI. Configuration of the advanced setting is not supported.

Level 2 Support, end to end
Qwest works with you to diagnose, and to the extent possible, resolve the trouble you're experiencing with applications and components that you use along with your Qwest service.


Qwest diagnoses its own equipment and systems to assure the internet service and your account are set up and active in the Qwest systems. Qwest provides account related configuration settings. When possible, Qwest will provide self help resources to assist you in additional troubleshooting.

The wide range of Qwest High-Speed Internet and dial-up services come with a variety of support levels. Each is backed by the Qwest commitment to outstanding customer service. This document explains our technical support levels and products we support.

Despite our efforts, it may be necessary to obtain additional technical support through other forums such as your computer equipment manufacturer, a network administrator or other Information Technology (IT) professional.
