There is no Firmware upgrade at this time. To recover the modem, your computer MUST be connected directly to your modem using the Ethernet cable.

Firmware Recovery Instructions

If your modem is unresponsive, use the Firmware Recovery instructions:

  ZyXEL® PK5000Z

To manually upgrade the firmware on your modem, your computer MUST be connected directly to your modem using the Ethernet cable.

The most current version of the PK5000Z firmware is QZP002-3.4.012.0. To check the firmware version on your modem, go to the Modem Fimrware Upgrade page. If your modem has any version other than the one previously listed, follow the onscreen instructions to upgrade the firmware.

  Actiontec® M1000
To manually upgrade the firmware on your modem, your computer MUST be connected directly to your modem using the Ethernet cable.

The most current version of the M1000 firmware is QA02.5-3.60.3.0.8.6. To check the firmware version on your modem, go to the Modem Status page. In the lower middle part of the page, the Firmware Version will be listed. If your modem has any version other than the one previously listed, use the Manual Firmware Upgrade Instructions below.

  Actiontec® Q1000 (VDSL2)

To manually upgrade the firmware on your modem, your computer MUST be connected directly to your modem using the Ethernet cable.

The most current version of the Q1000 firmware is QAQ01-31.00L.34. To check the firmware version on your modem, go to the Modem Fimrware Upgrade page. If your modem has any version other than the one previously listed, follow the onscreen instructions to upgrade the firmware.

  Motorola® 3347

To manually upgrade the firmware on your modem, your computer MUST be connected directly to your modem using the Ethernet cable.

The most current version of the Motorola 3347 firmware is QM02-7.8.4r10. To check the firmware version on your modem, go to the Modem Home Page. If the home page is all blue, you do not need to upgrade your modem's firmware. If the home page is mostly white, use the Manual Firmware Upgrade Instructions below.

Manual Firmware Upgrade Instructions

  2Wire® 2701/2700HG

To manually upgrade the firmware on your modem, your computer MUST be connected directly to your modem using the Ethernet cable.

The most current version of the 2Wire 2700/2701 firmware is QT04-6.1.5.48.2. If your Modem's Home Page has a blue background, you have the latest firmware and you SHOULD NOT upgrade your modems firmware.

WARNING: Performing a firmware upgrade on a 270X modem will return the modem to its factory default settings. Any customized settings will be lost (e.g. PPP credentials, static IP entries, wireless settings, etc.). The modem will need to be reprogrammed. This could result in an interruption in your Internet service. Ensure you have recorded all of your custom settings prior to performing the upgrade. Contact your ISP before attempting the firmware upgrade if you need additional help.
