Greetings!
Welcome to the inaugural "Qwest Community Blog." By launching this new community site, our goal is to provide our customers and potential customers with information about things that are happening at Qwest as they relate to them. We want to give you a more in-depth view into some products and other things we are working on at Qwest. Through our Community Forums, we want to give you an opportunity to hear from other customers and their experiences with Qwest. We hope you will enjoy this new site.
As a way of introduction—My name is Travis Leo and I am the Director of Broadband Product Management at Qwest. In this role, my team has responsibility for all of our DSL and Fiber-Optic Internet* products, including new product development. I will be one of the frequent contributors to this site, along with my teammates and other people at Qwest. You will also have the opportunity to hear from our executive leadership team through this forum. Our goal with this blog is to keep the content fresh and relevant and give you a fresh and different insight into things going on at Qwest.
Over the last few months, we’ve been busy installing fiber-optics technology in our network to improve our Internet service. Our new faster speeds, which are available to more and more households, have been met with outstanding success in the marketplace. Customers are excited to be able to achieve faster speeds and improve their on-line experience. For more information on these new services, check out the "Loop Into Your Neighborhood" section of our new site. You can always visit Qwest.com/fiberoptic to see a demonstration of the technology and find out if the new speeds are available in your neighborhood.
Make sure to bookmark this site (internetcommunity.qwest.com) and check back often for updates. If there are specific topics you would like to see us address in the future, please send a message to the community moderator with your comments.
On behalf of Qwest, I hope you enjoy our new site and the information that is contained within. I welcome your comments and feedback and look forward to communicating with many of you soon.
Regards,
Travis Leo
Director, Broadband Product Management
