TricorBraun®

With Qwest® CPE Solutions for IP Telephony, we have all the advantages of Qwest and Cisco working together with a single point of contact. And the reliable Qwest network is a foundation for other initiatives to improve the way we do business and free up IT staff to accomplish more.

Challenge

TricorBraun had an inefficient, heterogeneous mix of communications services and private branch exchanges (PBXs) serving its multiple locations across North America. The company wanted to consolidate on a single system to reduce costs, streamline administration, and enhance productivity for personnel at TricorBraun offices and for the many employees who travel on a regular basis.

Solution

After an extensive evaluation of partners and methods to help address its challenges, TricorBraun chose Qwest® CPE Solutions for IP Telephony, deploying Cisco customer premises equipment and using Qwest iQ® Networking® Private Port service across the 30 TricorBraun locations.

Benefits and Results:

  • Centralized management of a standardized communications system for multiple locations reduces costs and improves service
  • Consolidated support contracts managed centrally enable branch locations to focus on local customer service
  • Qwest iQ® Networking Private Port service provides stable, reliable multi-protocol label switching (MPLS) service
  • Function-rich Cisco phone system combined with Qwest network enhances employee productivity in the office and on the road
