Qwest Operator Services allows employees and guests to make calls within the United States, as well as to most International countries. The calls are billed based on the payment method selected by the end user - the originating line does not incur a charge at any time. Examples include calling card, collect, credit card and third party.

Government properties can connect to the Qwest Operator Services platform via dedicated access, subscription or through programming of their onsite private branch exchange (PBX). Users access the Qwest Operator Services platform by simply following the dialing instructions on the phone.
