Qwest Call Queuing services is an affordable queuing service that works on your existing phones and lines. It does not require any special equipment. With Qwest Call Queuing, callers to your business will be able to speak with a live person rather than reaching a busy signal or being forced to leave a message.

Instead of reaching a busy signal or voice mail, callers to a business with Qwest Call Queuing receive a pleasant greeting thanking them for calling and advising that their call will be answered in the order received. If the business has voice mail or a telephone answering service, the caller is also told that they can leave a message at anytime simply by pressing one (1). Recurring announcements thank the caller for their patience and remind them that they can always leave a message.

  • Choice of either male of female voice in announcements
  • The ability to turn Qwest Call Queuing ON or OFF at any time
  • Queue status prompts between calls that advise the caller has been in queue and if additional callers are still waiting
  • Out–call notification of callers entering queue, to a pager, wireless phone, or another phone line
  • Caller ID when available on out-call notification
  • All features can be changed or turned ON or OFF at any time

Call Queuing is not available in all areas. Some restrictions apply. Service is subject to technical limitations and is not compatible with all types of telecommunications products and services. Paging and leave-message options are subject to service provided by paging, voice mail and answering services. Caller ID requires use of compatible display unit, pager or data compatible wireless phone.
