Qwest® Business Voice Messaging Service (BVMS) can help you meet your business challenges, by ensuring you never miss a call. Whether you are on the line, traveling or unable to answer the phone, BVMS plays a personalized greeting and allows your customers to leave a message of up to three minutes. With this new generation of communication, you are able to retrieve messages from any touch-tone phone.

Optional Features

  • Extension Mailbox
    Add up to three extensions to your main mailbox without adding an additional line. Callers can then leave general messages in the main mailbox or private messages in individual extensions.
  • Call Routing or Call Routing to Number
    Callers will hear your greeting directing them to one of up to nine different individuals or departments. Callers can leave a message with Call Routing** or be directed to another local phone number or 8XX number with Call Routing to Number.
  • Message Notification
    Qwest notifies you of a new message by paging you or calling you on a local number you designate—like your wireless phone.
  • Scheduled Greetings
    Have the right greeting for the right time of day. For example, have one greeting for normal business hours and another for after hours.
  • Business Voice Messaging-Message Waiting Indication
    Choose an interrupted dial tone, visual indicator, or both to notify you when you have messages.

  • Listen Only Mailbox
    Service allows you to pre-record up to 15 minutes of announcements and informational messages that are heard by incoming callers.
