Service Overview

Qwest Web Defense is a completely managed security service requiring no additional hardware or software. The service allows easy administration through a Web-based administration portal.

Your Web traffic is routed through our Web proxy server, which filters the traffic according to policies you've determined in the Control Console. Threats are stopped at the network perimeter before they reach your computers or network.

A secure custom Web site allows authorized administrators to view and download a wide variety of real-time reports via an administrative console that provides insight into overall and individual threat and Web-usage activity.

Qwest offers a broad array of managed security services. These other services include subscription-based vulnerability assessments, managed Internet services, managed virtual private network solutions, managed firewalls, denial of service protection and managed intrusion detection services.

Qwest Web Defense is a part of the Qwest Anti-Virus/Anti-Spam service. Anti-Virus/Anti-Spam service is available in the U.S. and many international locations. Customer must verify with Qwest the availability of the Service in Customer's desired international locations. Minimum one-year commitment required. An Internet connection through an Internet Service Provider is required and may be acquired from Qwest or another provider of your choice.
