Metropolitan Area Acquisition (MAA) Contracts

The Metropolitan Area Acquisition program sustains significant price reductions in selected metropolitan areas and provides a flexible contract vehicle with quality local service offerings. Qwest holds the most recent MAA contracts, allowing our customers to utilize our MAA contracts.

Qwest offers the following products and services through the MAA program:

• Analog / digital voice lines with enhanced station features including caller I.D.
• PBX and Centrex arrangements
• ISDN BRI and PRI
• Direct Inward Dialing (DID) trunks
• Direct Outbound Dialing (DOD) trunks
• Point-to-point circuits with digital speeds up to OCN
• Local number portability
• No usage-based charge for calls within the MAA Network
• Flexible Service Delivery Points (SDPs)

Region 7 - Metropolitan Local Service Acquisition (MLSA)

Qwest offers Analog Business Lines, Centrex Prime, Private Line, PRI, DSS and IQ Networking services for GSA Region 7. The GSA Region 7 MLSA contract includes the Metro Denver and Metro Salt Lake City area where Qwest is the local provider.

Region 8 - Metropolitan Local Service Acquisition (MLSA)

Qwest offers Analog Business Lines, Centrex Prime, Private Line, PRI, DSS and IQ Networking services for GSA Region 8. The GSA Region 8 MLSA contract includes the Metro Denver and Metro Salt Lake City area where Qwest is the local provider. Qwest also offers an LSA for Region 8 which covers the following states: South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado and Utah.

Region 9 Local Service Acquisition (LSA)

Qwest offers many services for GSA Region 9 including Analog Business Lines, Centrex Prime, Private Line, PRI, DSS and IQ Networking. The GSA Region 9 contract includes the entire state of Arizona where Qwest is the local provider.

Region 10 Tri-State Local Service Acquisition (LSA)

Contract to provide integrated telecommunications services, and associated service management, for the General Service Administration (GSA), Office of Network Services, Northwest Arctic Region at various locations throughout the states of Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. Qwest offers many services for GSA Region 10 including Analog Business Lines, Centrex Prime, Private Line, PRI, DSS and IQ Networking.
