Eugene (Gene) Caffrey

Gene Caffrey has served the federal telecommunications community for over 15 years. He joined Qwest Government Services Division (GSD) in January 2002. In his current role for Qwest, he serves as sales manager for civilian accounts, specifically the US Department of Treasury, Department of Labor, Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the Department of Interior (DOI), the General Services Administration (GSA), the Department of Agriculture (USDA) , US District Courts, Legislative Branch (Congress), Federal Commissions and international organizations. Caffrey's team provides national coverage to these agencies.

Prior to joining Qwest, Mr. Caffrey spent 8 years as the Regional Sales Manager of Civilian networks for MCI Government Markets. He also has an extensive background in IP-VPN networks, data center hosting and internet solutions for customers in the federal marketplace.

Mr. Caffrey holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Finance from LaSalle University and resides in Medford, NJ with his family.
