Qwest Government Services Procurement (GSP)

The mission of Qwest government services procurement (GSP) is to provide procurement and subcontract support for its federal government clients. In doing so, GSP fully supports Qwest's Small Business Program initiatives.

All procurement activities are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, recognized standards of business conduct, the Qwest compliance program and the expectations of our federal clients via regulatory flow down requirements.

While Qwest does not guarantee work to potential subcontractors, suppliers, and/or teaming partners, we nonetheless seek quality small businesses, disadvantaged, 8(a), HUBzone businesses, woman-owned businesses, veteran owned businesses, and service disabled veteran businesses.

Qwest Government Procurement Policy

Qwest government procurement policy, while consistent with the Qwest corporate procurement policy, is differentiated from the corporate policy due to the uniqueness of the federally mandated procurement policies that flow through Qwest's prime contracts and subcontracts. As such, a separate set of policies, processes and procedures for compliance has been constructed and separately maintained for all Qwest government services procurements. These policies substantially reflect the flow down provisions of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and agency supplemental regulations.

Small Business Program

Qwest government services actively seeks and recruits the following qualified businesses as defined below to fulfill its subcontract, procurement and teaming diversity requirements on behalf of our Federal clients.

The Qwest Small Business Program initiative has received the highest endorsements from Diana Gowen, senior vice president, Qwest government services and from our CEO, Ed Mueller. Learn More
